Join us on Wednesday nights from 7:35 PM – 8:35/9 PM for our 3-fold purpose:
Community – You cannot be obedient to Christ on your own. When we study and pray together we are encouraged and inspired to grow spiritually.
Interactive Bible Study – You come prepared and work to get the application (the more you put in the more you’ll get out)
Prayer – We are to be vulnerable and share each other's burdens. We know nobody is perfect, so why hide it? We break up into pairs, reveal our requests, and pray for each other.
Example of Past Study: Gospel-Shaped Work
Many Christians have a dualistic approach to life. We have a church life and a work life, and the two can be pretty separate. This 8-week study is about marrying these two worlds together.
Instead of just adding Christian facets to my work life, I should operate as if everything in my life connects to the gospel; remembering that not only is the gospel the answer to people’s spiritual needs at work, but that it is at the heart of everything I do in and out of the office.
God created us to be workers; to till the soil, to subdue creation, to be His representatives in the world, and when we work as God intended we will flourish.
“And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. (Colossians 3:23)
